Cause Description:
This org is a non-profit which give sanctuary and health and medical care to stray, feral and abandoned animals which it rescues. The animals are cared for and given sanctuary until an appropriate forever home can be found through the org's adoption policies and efforts. Each animal is spayed/neutered as quickly as is feasible and has a forever, loving home at TLC should it not be adopted. No animal is ever euthanized except for medical reasons when there is no other viable option. No animal is caged, unless medically necessary, and they are treated as a family pet unless and until their forever home is found. TLC handles mostly cats/kittens but, when space provides, TLC handles any and all other types of rescue, including dogs, rabbits, ferrets, horses, etc. as long as it has a volunteer/staff with the appropriate know-how to help the animal.
