Little Brothers and Sisters that meet with their "Bigs" twice a month for about a year are 46% less likely to than their peers to start using illegal drugs, 27% less likely to start drinking and 52% less likely to skip a day of school. They are more trusting of parents or guardians, less likely to lie to them and feel more supported and less critized by their peers and friends.
