Cause Description:
Welcome to the Charlotte Reeves Robertson Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). We are a women’s service organization supporting the mission of NSDAR of historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Our members descend from the Patriots who, with unfailing loyalty to the cause of American independence, served as sailors, soldiers, or civil service in one of the colonies or states, or rendered material aid to the cause of independence. Our chapter is continually working to enhance the City of Springfield and the surrounding Robertson County area by preserving our local history, encouraging the study of our American history, and impressing upon the community the importance of patriotism. Our programs and activities provide us with the opportunity to do each of these things in many different settings. We are a diverse, but like-minded, group of women who enjoy celebrating our heritage and spending time together.
