Death Row Doggies Rescue - Weakley Co., TN

Cause Description:
We are a no-kill rescue and shelter for dogs. We a located in Weakley Co., TN, in a town called Dresden, which is about half way between Memphis and Nashville, and an hour northeast of Jackson. We focus on encouraging spaying and neutering, responsible pet ownership and placement of dogs/puppies in homes with families who have been screened thoroughly and who are adopting a dog for the duration of life of the dog. Many of the dogs we help are the un-wanted, the castaways, the drop- offs, the abandoned, the injured, the neglected/abused -- the dogs who have been left at the pound and whose time is up and they are to be put down. We bring them here, vet them, do everything we can to socialize them and get them healthy, and then begin to work on finding them homes and promoting them via photos at various pet adoption websites, on Facebook, etc.
